Friday 30 th September

Vilei to castromaior
27 km
No rain.
We started early as our accommodation did not make us want to hang around. ( The saying you get what you pay for fits).
It was a lovely walk through paths through small farm hamlets and some road walking. It really felt like England as green ,leafy ,such a contrast to earlier in our journey.
We walked to portomarin ,going through the 100 km marker. Portomarin is a relocation of the historic city stone by stone which was due to a dam constructed in 1956 which flooded the former city. Actually, when we walked over the bridge we saw the remnants of the former city and Roman bridge.
